I think Semenov is a junior if his redshirt gets approved.Crazy to think that there’s still plenty of games left and Jimerson has played 24 more career games than JMU’s Audrey Semenov.

The cap might have been raised to 12 but its still under review lolReally? I thought the NCAA capped athletes at 9 redshirts?
The plaintiffs lawyers are writing up the paperwork as we speak on how unfair the redshirt maximum is as well as all other restrictive rules so the NCAA should remove all restrictions and let anyone play who is enrolled (delete italicized text) regardless of academic failures, years previously played, or enrollment status. The cap might have been raised to 12 but its still under review lol![]()
I watched the SJU vs. SLU game and was not impressed with Avila at all. And his numbers over the last few games are dreadful. If Jimmerson is out this ought to be a cake walk.I agree. In his last 4 games, he certainly hasn't played like a 1st team all-conference level.:
8-23 from 2,
0-4 from 3,
12 assists, but
20(!) TOs
That said, SLU did beat vcu (their first conference loss since losing their A10 opener).
Jimmerson hurt his ankle--didn't play in the 2d half vs St. Joe's. Not clear if he will be available for our game.

Another big game tonight. We'll see if Jimerson plays.
Mason hasn't won in St Louis since 2016. We lost by a point in 2023, in a game we really should have won.
Right now St Louis is 3 games behind us in the standings. A win tonight pushes them 4 back with 6 to play and officially guarantees us a top 4 spot (we are about 99.2% likely at the moment). We're going to get SLUs very best effort tonight and it will make for another tough road game. However, we've won @Bonaventure, Dayton, GW, etc, so I can't be too worried about that.
SLU is 9th in the league in defense, so while they won't be as easy to score on as Rhode Island, I dont expect them to be as tough as a GW or a Bonaventure. If we limit our turnovers, move the ball offensively like last game and continue to lock in defensively I like our chances.
And if you want to feel old, here is the pic I found in my phone from that game:Mason hasn't won in St Louis since 2016.
