Not sure if Grayer is being shy about contact in the paint, but his game has morphed into more finesse and less getting into the mix. Boyd has been like that many teams this season as well. Boyd we know has been playing through a gimpy knee. But Grayer, aside from his recent foot injury, I don't see why he's trying to be cute with the ball of late—just put it in the bucket. Maybe he's trying to do too much? Nonetheless, we need him to return quickly. Perhaps tonight's game off will do the trick for Jaire. Wouldn't be surprised, however, if he's out vs. Fordham as well.

Gotta be happy with Greene. He just needs time but I’m not worried. Boyd hitting the side of the backboard on a layup however...

Never coming to a game here ever again. Parking is all side street (if you don't have a season ticket permit). Then you have to walk on the road into incoming traffic. Who the fock decided that was a good idea? Fock Richmond, you suck!
I always enjoy games there. We did end up parking on the other side of campus, about a 8 minute walk through the middle of campus.

I’m always surprised how small their band is and how little students they have attend game. They have good attendance but it seems like they are all older alumni.

We had a huge lead and then it seemed like the refs started helping the spiders get back in the game. The last 2 minutes had me nervous.

With Grayer out this game it was interesting to see our 3 Freshmen 2 Sophomore lineup. Not like we had a choice when giving Otis a breather. I think they handled their own and looked good. Greene and Mar really came through for us today, it was nice to see.

Any idea how bad Grayer’s injury is?

Pro tip: When attending games at Richmond, park by the Jepson Alumni Center and take the free shuttle to the arena. Beats walking, especially when it’s cold.

Also, Richmond has poor student attendance primarily because the university has only about 3,600 undergrads.

We have 7 times that many undergrads and our student attendance still sucks other than for a few select games.

That makes sense. Where were you sitting tonight?

Section 21 up by one of the huge video boards in the corners. Surrounded by people with little kids so I had to keep it G-rated even as the refs tried to fornicate us.

I bought mine through Mason and didn't have the seat locations until I picked them up at will call. We were section 8 row P in a Mason section. Felt bad for the guy next to me, he was the only Richmond fan and didn't know how he got tickets surrounded by us. The only thing I regret is had I just gone through ticketmaster I could have gotten tickets lower for less money using their resale site. Will probably hit up the vcu game down here at the end of the month too.

I bought a ticket at the box office when I got there, section 10 row C. The man next to me said I lucked out and got a season ticket seat.

Ok but it doesn't change that they still have ppl park on the side of the street then walk into on coming traffic on the road.

Well, my point is there was plenty of parking lots, and I am guessing you didn't drive around enough or print out a map like I did. I had not been to the Robins Center in over 10 years, and frankly, none of it looked familiar but I followed the signs and then the map and had no issues. It seems there is one big lot (or maybe garage) on one side of the arena that the general public can use.

If you think that is bad, go to Chapel Hill.

Noted, never go to Chapel Hill.

Ah-ha, Coach P said in tonight's post-game press conference that Jaire Grayer has been playing on a bum foot since at least as far back as the vcu game.

Regarding Jevon Greene, Coach says that Javon "shoots the snot out of the ball in practice." Would love to see some of that snot in games. Hopefully, it's coming soon to a basketball court near you.

Hope this link works. I have trouble with Facebook video on my tablet.

Late to the conversation because I had to watch the second half at a bar before dinner with friends. TEAM win all the way. Everyone contributed key aspects to the effort. We appear to be Richmond's nightmare matchup in the same way that GW is ours. ESPECIALLY happy with Javon Greene today. Perhaps Jaire needs to be hurt more often. ;) Good team win. Lots of freshmen mistakes down the stretch, time to learn from them. Justin's 3's were welcomed and unexpected. Nice. As DP says all the time, better to teach after a win than after a loss. Good job to everyone involved.
