True. Only making the point that you can overcome "youth" with good coaching/game planning.

Yes it can.

However here's the bench comparison both teams have to work with:

3 more players and a combined 15 years more experience.

Yes the short bench, you could argue is Paulsen's fault all day. But since we are talking about game game planning, you could see how such a shorthanded and inexperienced bench could stifle a coach's ability to be more creative.

I think another point missing in preparation is who our guards are going up against. People have said a lot of Calixte's early development has come from having to practice against Reuter every day. Who is everyone else practicing against every day? Mostly walk-ons.

If we find a way to win tomorrow, we could get on a decent little run the way the schedule shapes up over the next couple weeks.

Not counting on it, though. We match up OK with them but pretty sure UR will be extremely motivated after losing to us five consecutive times.

Maybe (fingers crossed) Richmond is looking past us to their Wednesday game with vcu.

Looking at least year's meetings with Richmond, it's pretty easy to see why we are struggling this year:

Game 1 @Richmond W 82-77

Jekins 16 pts, 8 rebounds
Moore 25 pts, 13 rebounds

Game 2 Richmond W 93-70

Jenkins 17 pts, 8 rebounds
Moore 22 pts, 12 rebounds
Newman 12 pts

Missing the consistency of Jenkins and Moore A LOT right now. That is the difference between a senior and a sophomore.

IF Otis and Grayer both play 40 minutes today and are both on, we've got a shot, I think. But that's a big if right now.

No no no, consistency from seniors is overrated, but I've learned on these boards it's all Paulsen's fault for not having five senior starters this season!
