Well let’s talk basketball - to be honest you started the name calling - we were talking basketball since this thread started.

Back to my original thoughts - odds are vcu will won but it’s not a slam dunk certainty. We have to maintain defense intensity and keep vcu form scoring in the paint and push you to make here point shots or perimeter shots which is where you have been weakest on offense.

Fair enough. We have been weak on offense most everywhere, but then shooting over 40% are scary. The formula to winning is not to shoot over 15 3's, turnovers under 15 (this is the hard part) and hold the bad guys under 60. Doing 2 of 3 of these things makes for a difficult out for any team in the country. Just ask fuva.

Livingston is going to be blanketed, so someone else is going to have to get hot for you. We have 3 guys with quickness to match and much more size/height on him. Keep him under 15 is the ticket because he is going to get his. Good players do that.

It will be a fun game to watch if the refs let both teams play, but I don't see you guys getting a win at the Stu.

Finally dropped some real basketball talk. You probably didn’t see us winning at the Stu last year either though did you? Granted you guys are better this year and will be even better next year since no one is graduating.

We have had success this year with teams bigger than us, I thought Dayton and URI were going to give us fits with their big lineups. vcu will be a real test and it is extremely difficult to win at the Stu. You guys have a great defense but in my opinion your weakness is having true shooters outside of Evans and maybe Jenkins.

I don’t have stats to back this up but when you say “if the Refs let both teams play” I would imagine that benefits vcu. You guys most likely fouls more with the style of Defense you run and Mason until last game was leading the conference in FT % by a large margin.

In my opinion if Mason limits their turnovers to under 12 which will be very difficult. We have a decent night from the 3 point line and our normal night from the FT line(not like the GW game) we have a shot. If we can smother Santos-Silva in the paint and force you guys to take 3’s we win.
