In looking a second time at what was in today's print version of the Post (all of 2 sentences), it said "From News Services and Staff Reports" and what followed were 10 scores of men's and women's games from local universities. Our game was mentioned first. No Post sportswriter had a byline on the article and they did mention the A10 correctly in the sentence talking about Grayer. I'm guessing the error was in the original AP summary and someone on the Post staff corrected the league affiliation.
Indeed, here' the game recap that was on ESPN.com with the source indicated as Associated Press:

Jalen Jenkins added 15 and tied his career best with 12 rebounds, and George Mason held off UMass 76-74 on Saturday for its sixth victory on the road.

Marquise Moore's layup in traffic with 24 seconds left.

C.J. Anderson was off on a 3 at the buzzer.
Jaire Grayer scored 12 for the Patriots (14-7, 4-4
America East), who made 14 of 22 free throws to the Minutemen's 8 for 17.
