"You guys need to read the Mason board through Herve's link. They are quite divided iver the upcoming game's result with about one-half of the poster predicting a GW victory or a close squeak-by Mason victory. Hells bells! They seem to have more faith in the Buff and Blue then this board has.

I think that GW can pull this off. I believe!"

Ugh... 2-16 all-time vs. GW. The time to begin evening this thing out is now.

At one point in our respective histories, JMU also dominated the series with Mason.

Things change. As long as Paulsen stays at Mason, our numbers vs GW are gonna start looking a lot better.

"Very winable game between two below average teams (now how's that for a rivalry?). GMU is similar to GW in more ways than just geography. GMU is actually younger than GW and has even less of a bench. Both teams do 2 things well: rebound and foul. Both OR and DR for both teams as well as getting fouled on offense but not fouling on D. Not much else good. Neither team forces TOs but GMU does a slightly better job not turning it over themselves. GW is a better 3pt shooting team. GMU is a better 2pt shooting team.

I'm looking forward to seeing beast man Marquise Moore (10.9 reb/game) go up against TC and Yuta. GW has a distinct advantage in height so winning the battle of the boards is key for GW. GMU will probably try to speed GW up and GW will want to be more deliberate and dump it down to TC, Toro and Marfo.

GW sneaks out with a win vs a team that already lost at home to St Louis and Mount St Marys."

If Jalen can halt Cavanaugh (dude is still in college?) and Marquise can make Yuta Wantanabe shoot crazy shots he has been shooting this year (he is so overrated) we should be fine. Sina, the big east transfer will be a handful for Otis. I am just glad the Mike Lonergan whistleblower Jorgenson (short PG that torched us last year) is gone. Mason by 4

I think it will be close, but I do think we are the better team. It's really going to come down to our freshman and sophomore. I think our success for the rest of the season moving forward depends on their progress. Jalen and Moore, seemed locked in each game, and it's crazy to think that we can basically expect a double double from Moore each game.

Really excited for gameday. I wish that had half tickets. I can only make the second half of each weekday game with how work usually plays out.

every time i think they've turned a corner they lose at home, im skeptical

I worry about their size and rebounding, especially offensively. May cause Jalen to get in foul trouble which is never a good thing as we have seen.
