He was very smart. Knew he wasn’t going to be able to outmuscle their bigs so he took a lot of midrange shots and they fell for him tonight. We needed that on a night where Kier struggled.

Mason is the A10 leader in FTs at 83.2%. That's got to be far and away best in the A10 over 2nd.

Otis is 23rd in the nation and Greene 24th in the nation in FTs. What a pleasure to see and have that

Awesome awesome win. My observations:

*This team can compete with anyone with the D they are playing, even when they were struggling early (which seemed to me to be an issue with rotating out of double teams) they made adjustments and locked down UD at home.
*Have kept opponents to 68 points or less in last nine games since allowing Vermont to score 72 (7 of the 9 have been 63 pts or less)
*I think Calixte hitting those 2 FT's was the play of the game
*Can't believe those idiots played living on a prayer just before UD's last possession with 15 seconds left
*My two year old needs to learn not to clap and cheer when the crowd does when we are watching away games on tv (but he is getting much better at chanting defense and putting his hands up during FT's)
*Let's go URI!!!

Totally shocked we won that game and absolutely love it. In the first few minutes I was thinking if we weren't careful we'd get blown out...and then we win. Again this team making free throws in the second half that sealed the win..such a difference maker.

And what an improvement on the defense. The first 5 minutes we were absolutely terrible...then totally turned it around. Man.

Also shout out to Hartwell who had a couple clutch buckets, and once again moving really well with the ball. I think he is going to be an exceptional point guard. He just seems super comfortable handling the rock.
