Pretty embarrassing. St. Louis is not a good team and we didn't have that killer instinct to run them out of the gym today. We know we are better then them yet we did not act on it.

The youth of our team showed today when Moore and Jenkins were out and had a lot of bad turnovers. Hard for us to score consistently outside of those 2 and Otis.

Ugh. This game just sucked.

You know, this is the game where you remember how young we are, and how important MM is.

Really, what does he have around him? We like our young talent (or at least I do), but what are they TODAY?

Otis is (today) an average A-10 point guard. Jalen is an average to slightly below average big. Grayer is a below average A10 wing. Kier and Boyd are WAY below average A10 wings. Our two freshmen are way below average backup bigs.

Now, as those guys grow, they'll end up being good, but today, we have kind of a lot of below average pieces, ,surrounding one POY-level player.

Meh. Temara and Relvao will both be a little better next year, and Wilson well help some. We're not going to be the '99 Spurs, but lets not pretend that we're fantastic in the front court this year. We're going to be a perimeter based team for at least the next few years.

Now we've seen the bad swings Dave talked about earlier in the season. Let's hope we don't see it again, otherwise this will be a long season and crushing since we were well above expectations.

I wouldn't be surprised that with all the hype on the team right now (Otis on the news, POY talks for MM) the team is kind of full of themselves. They went into this game thinking they are the better team rather than proving they are the better team. Hopefully they learn from this.

11-19 from the FT line. I don't know how many front ends of 1 and 1s. It wasn't the reason we lost, but it was a reason we lost.
