Good for them! 10 years late but better late than never. I guess they had to wait for vcu to think of it. I really hope they can stop sucking so bad. Maybe this will help snag a decent NY recruit.

I have gotten used to vcu fans being partially douche - some of them have issues. I don't think vcu invented the notion of having a branded team bus. Others had it before them. So.......I don't think we are copying vcu. Funny idea though.

Wrong. We can't be accused of copying vcu. Our band director keeps his clothes on and doesn't date students.

I think vcu is going to come out and look to give us that "punch in the mouth" right from the start.

How we handle/manage ourselves will set the tone.

They do look like they're in some sort of disarray. Wade's a good coach, but Shaka was a really special coach for them. They're going to see some really bad losses under Wade I think.

I went wandering over to the vcu boards......alot of individuals talking about working their jobs and interacting with other firms and businesses....

And then it hit me! Give credit to the McDonald's, art galleries, janitor services etc for making these vcu alumni feel like an integral part of society.

And to think they make fun of our instution academically when our President becomes a Director of the FRB in their town and the best their President can do is be a pastie paster at Daddy Rabbits.....

Agree - vcu is aggressive - but I think we will too. Our defense is much improved over last year. I think we are now able to punch back. If we can force vcu into relying on three point shooting - we will be successful - This will be decided in the paint and under the post.

To be fair, vcu played like horsesh!t against ULM. They were losing by a bucket with 12 minutes left in the game.

All Wade did was acknowledge the obvious. I think Paulsen would do the same if he had a senior-led team he thought was underachieving.

Well then its time to kick the in the nutz and put them down now. If we could beat them last year when we weren't that good - we should be able to beat them this year.

Last year's attendance for this game at the EBA was 5,138. Do you guys think we can at least get a thousand more regardless if some are vcu fans? I'm hoping when you factor in our hot streak this time more Mason fans and students will show up to see a great game. I know I'll be bringing my friends this year and we are group of eight people, although two of them are vcu alumni :/

Everyone please try and bring who you can. We need to create a college basketball atmosphere we deserve.

vcu is suffering from turn over issues, they don't shoot the 3 well and have been struggling to find a leader. How times have changed. Wade still barley plays his younger players like last year, which resulted in a bunch of transfers. Their future looks bleak. F vcu.

I noticed that in their last game - even Wade said they took too many three point shots. Thats why we should close down the paint and under the post. We need to force them to rely on the three.
