Tight game and People sitting on their behinds instead of on their feet and screaming defense.

SMH.
And yes the screenshots will continue till the culture/atmosphere changes smh.
Yet again, begging you if you are so passionate about the atmosphere, show up and be the change you want to see. Not disagreeing with you that it’s like a church on Tuesday afternoon at home games but if people don’t start coming to games and bring the crazy person in their row nothing is going to change. We’ve got plenty of keyboard warriors at this point, not enough fans who actually give a damn. I was personally impressed we could get 3k+ to show up for a Saturday 2pm tip during Christmas break.

A win is a win. This level of play will not be a win against A10 members. The D in KDJohnson cannot stand for defense. How does he contribute? Not a point guard, not a two guard, plays little to no defense. Was hoping he’d get a tech early so he wouldn’t play the rest of the game. Foul shots, rebounding, and turnovers will be Mason’s downfall. The starting five played well, then a sudden drop off, wonder why? I don’t care how much NIL money is involved, play the players who deserve to play, who hustle at both ends of the court. Enough said.

Well, I'll take a win any day. I think I speak for many when I thought we'd be 11-2 at this point. But, you can't change the past so let's shoot for 12-6 in conference. Historically that would get us top 4. Fingers crossed and time will tell.

Who on this roster is a better passer than KD? Not saying he is our solution, but I still struggle to see how he is the problem.

1/3 through the season and this level of turning the ball over with veteran type players is concerning. 16 Turnovers is embarrassing against any team. The coaches HAVE to clean this up and stress taking care of the ball and smart passes.

I wasn’t able to watch today. But according to the box score, Begg is doing more with less minutes than KD.
Far more to a game than a box score. Begg is a great scorer and will develop into a great player, but also turned the ball over under our own basket on two consecutive plays and turned a 14 point game into a 9 point game in about 6 seconds of play. He is also still getting completely burned off the ball defensively, which causes larger breakdowns of our team defense. He’s a solid guard and getting better every day, but very clearly still not there yet.

I’ll take it a step further and say that KD’s 2 assists and 5 turnovers could easily have been 5 assists and 2 turnovers if passes weren’t fumbled under the basket. He also found many wing players for wide-open shots that they missed.

I’m not a Johnson apologist and fully admit he can make some frustrating decisions, but the constant narrative that he’s our biggest problem gets old when Newton and Anderson missed 7 of 9 shots, we gave up 10 offensive rebounds, we shot 57% from the FT line, and we let them score 26 points in the paint.

The bottom line: We have a lot to clean up before conference play starts In a few days.

Mason always commits the majority of jts turnovers in first 10 minutes of the game.

Is it just me, or do we use Anderson in the complete wrong way on offense? Park him in the corner and let him stretch the defense or get some set looks at 3. Instead, he sets screens at the top of the key or runs a weave. I don’t think I’ve seen him score on a pick and roll yet this season.

"Senior Jalen Haynes continued his torrid pace of late, notching a game-high 18 points to go along with a career-best 16 rebounds. He also notched two steals and made 6-of-9 shots from the floor. Haynes has now notched four double-doubles in his past five games and has posted 10+ points in eight-straight contests.

Haynes is just the third Patriot to post 16+ rebounds in a game in the past nine seasons."

"GM held a +11 (44-33) edge on the glass in the game and turned nine offensive rebounds into a 16-3 edge in second chance points."

I get a lot of Andre Cornelius vibes from KD. He makes great passes that are fumbled by the receiver because they aren't expecting them. I guess maybe that makes them not great passes?
