Thoughts: Leading scorer Dallas Hobbs has missed their last 3 games. They are coming off an overtime win at Miami which should give them confidence. Granted Miami is struggling this year at just 4-8 but a road win against an ACC team is not easy to achieve. If we take them seriously we should win by double digits.

Discuss.

"GAME NOTES:
  • This was the Mount's first win over an ACC opponent since a 71-69 victory at Georgia Tech at the Omni in Atlanta on Dec. 18, 1995.
  • The win was the seventh non-conference win this season for the Mountaineers, the most by a Mount team since moving to NCAA Division I in 1988-89.
  • The Mount's 8-4 start this season is the program's best since going 11-1 to start the 1996-97 campaign.
  • This was the second all-time meeting between the two teams. Miami defeated the Mount, 86-83, on Dec. 8, 1966, at the Baltimore Civic Center.
  • Mount St. Mary's shot 50.0 percent (30-of-60) from the field in the win while holding Miami to 40.6 percent."

3 generations of males from my family will be there. Christmas taketh away (see above) and Christmas giveth, in my case. It's all good for us as well.

3 of the 4 from my clan will be seeing their first Mason game this year and the first one they've been to in at least a couple of years.
