That line is actually a little bit of disrespect. Warranted, as we are clearly unproven, but disrespect. I feel very strongly that we are going to cover today, but I would not actually bet on it because we're just coming off of the exam break so who knows

According to Kenpom, here are the things Navy does well (green):

• Offensive rebounding % (81st)
• Gets to the FT line (101st)
• FT % (24th)

Things they do poorly (pink or red):

• high turnover rate on offense (284)
• low defensive turnover rate (282)
  
• Shoot 2's (323) and 3's (297)
• Block % on either offense (318) or defense (339)
• Steal % on either offense (319) or defense (307)

So if Mason's offensive turnovers are particularly key to our success, that is not a Navy strength. On the other hand, we haven't played a game in 2 weeks, and in the past, that sort of layoff may result in less than crisp performance.

I was surprised to see that Lipscomb, who beat Navy by 20+ in their last game was ranked #66 by kenpom, so a blowout loss in an away game against a fairly good team may not be as bad as it looks.
