Take the under.Looks like we've opened -5.0, O/U 148.
But it will still be a little bit of an ugly win.
But just like a 2:00 AM thick chick on the weekend - its better than going home cold and alone.
need to hear it as a fan because I don't get it. I would rather have JDS start as a freshman over Javon....I would love to hear Dave's answer on why Greene gets the nod over Grayer.

Yeah something did leak out about that. If he wants more playing time he should stop traveling. He gets called for at least 2 travels bc he moves before the dribble.Didn't Grayer threaten to leave the team at the end of last season when him and his dad were complaining about playing time?
I'd imagine they're just trying to ease Grayer back into everything coming off the surgery in the off season. It's a long season, no need to throw him back in the fire right away. I'm sure he'll still log a healthy # of minutes, regardless.I would love to hear Dave's answer on why Greene gets the nod over Grayer.

Yes, but Javon started.Did he play in the exhibition? I didn't get a chance to watch it.
I'm not as down on Greene as some others are - I think at minimum he is probably an improvement on the defensive end over Grayer.
I just think it's a little strange when you have a 1,000 point scorer, a multi-year returning starter on the bench for his senior season. I've seen others speculate that's it's because of the injury or it's to get him back into shape. 1) Dave said Grayer was 100% in the interview with Rohland yesterday, so I don't think it's that, and 2) the same people say they are going to get the same amount of minutes so it doesn't matter (which maybe true), but then why make the switch if the minutes are going to be the same? The risk doesn't seem worth the reward (Grayer checking out, being unhappy, becoming a negative in the locker room - which may not be the case at all, just speculation).
I'm not saying it's the wrong move, I just want to know why the move is taking place. Maybe Greene outworked Grayer, maybe Greene is better, maybe Grayer isn't conditioned yet, maybe with Reuter the staff feels we don't need the rebounding Grayer brings over Greene and wants a more perimeter type player... all valid reasons, would just be nice to hear what the reasoning is, that's all.
