Agree but the future is now. We need to win this season. We only have a handful of opportunities to make a splash in the OOC schedule.
Yes, we are most likely overreacting and in 3 weeks, we will be making plans to build temples and sacrifice virgins to a temple we built in his honor. But I think this is why the Penn loss was particularly disappointing. In rebuild years, experimenting with lineups is more acceptable. This year, the only things that matter are W’s and L’s
Granted if we won this game, everyone would be touting Paulsen as a genius.
“Wow Paulsen is a mad genius!"
But he didn't. So questioning his decisions is perfecdty reasonable. Questioning his ability to run a program overal is overeaching and premature at this point.
But let me ask you and Jim this question: What would have to happen for you guys to question Paulsen's approach? If we do not make the NCAA tourney? If we go below .500? When is your tipping points?
Honestly, just want to know. You guys follow this program as closely as I do, perhaps way more.
