Cheap, maybe. But anything that gets students wearing Mason bball stuff is a good thing. I saw a few around campus. They're aimed at college kids, and we know college kids have no standards. Plus it's better than a free slice of Piasano's or something.

Without knowing the exact costs or anything, I'd of rather gotten beanies like we did that one time.

In 3 minutes on a google search we could get 2500 beanies for about $3/each.

I'd rather they replace the annual "free mason earbuds" night with a beanie, but I think it's a good idea to do jerseys on homecoming every year. Aside from maybe opening night, or the vcu game if it falls at the right time, homecoming has the most students through the door. Give out something they'll wear.

I think we onetime had 7 temporarily during the Jesse Young years and still went on the road and beat a solid ECU team.
