That has to be the worst "write up" I have ever seen from a so called journalist. Typos and he basically just read last years stats and this years roster, no insight at all. Looks like a middle schooler wrote it, and it would be mediocre by middle school standards.

Agreed. They could have given GW half a page, Mason half a page, and put Navy, AU, Howard on a separate all together so they could get some press. AU surprised a lot of people last year, and the write up on them was crap.

I paid $5 for the USA Today college hoops preview at CVS a few weeks ago, and it was worth every penny. I like to follow the other conferences and look for the mid major games on various networks to follow the sport.

You would think someone in the athletic department would have reached out to the Post and invited them to a few practices and got some quotes from Hewitt or one of the assistants. That is how journalism should work, get the full story, not "make up something".

If Lockett will wear green Nike's, this will be the first team in recent memory to wear all the same brand and color sneakers. Marco has finally gotten rid of his grass-cutter-looking low tops.

For at least the last 10 years, maybe longer, we've always worn Nike (or Jordan Brand, same umbrella). We wore Reebok with Westhead. I'm not sure past that.

I clicked on the Mason logo on the A-10 site and if I remember correctly, it showed a 4 month subscription for GMU streamed stuff at 24.95. I clicked a little further along in the process and it appears that price has been raised to 29.95. Still not a bad deal - I figure I'd tune into 8 or 9 game through this service.

I am a little confused by the A-10 option. If I signed up for the 4 months/$40 A-10 option instead, will I be able to see the same home games? Away games as well? It'd be a great deal if so. That doesn't appear to be the case to me though.

I imagine I'll purchase the GMU 4 month deal and get a 24 hour or 1 game pass if I want to watch away games that aren't on TV.
