You’re talking like 166k is nothing to the Athletics program.. You’re also not considering that you are probably buying out the assistant coaches contracts as well. Additionally, i think most agree that if we were to get rid of Paulsen, we need to bring in a coach that can take us from an average/below average A10 program, to a top A10 program, which means they will probably need to pay them more than Paulsen, give them a bigger assistant salary pool, higher recruiting budget, etc.Mason bought out Hewitt, why not Paulsen.

I understand this requires a two year buyout, but it’s only 166k more than Hewitt’s buyout. Get rid of Greene’s 100k salary and it’s basically a wash.

All of that and a lot more has to be considered first, and like I said, I don’t see it happening this year.
