In DP's tenure here we have performed accordingly from the stripe,

15-16 - - 67%....11th in A10
16-17- - 74%.....7th in A10
17-18- - 74%......7th in A10
18-19- - 71%.... 5th in A10
19-20- - 69%...10th in A10
20-21- - 58% last place so far in A10

Crazy to think those first 4 years were offset by Otis who was one of the best FT shooters in the nation and we still weren't even that high.

In 18-19 Otis shot 87.3 and Javon shot 90.5. The rest of the team must have been trash.

I don't want to be too judgmental, but we're talking about a 15-foot uncontested shot that these players have been shooting for many years. Perhaps, it's time to bring in a sports psychologist who can help the players with the mental aspects of the shot.

I think you're supposed to pass/hand off the ball well outside the perimeter to combat a zone defense. When the shot clock is under 10, you dribble into traffic from the top of the key as the defense collapses on you and throw up a wild shot or turn the ball over on a bad pass.

Kinda crazy how many kids are transferring or stepping away midseason around the league.
