heard of his previous school.... hot bed of talent... this new school... not so much. that is why this is so confusing especially when our board pundits talk about how important Hutchins is in the landscape of Mason basketball. 2nd in charge assistant to a new role with a no name school?!? confused

Are they attached to Case Western Reserve University? Looks like it’s an elite Midwestern academic school, not necessarily athletics.

Interesting that Pete Hutchins is resigning and going to be a prep school coach. I have to think thats more of what he likes. At the very least he will be a point of contact for the current staff. Congrats to him.
That said, I suspect Dave will go get someone else that he knows or has worked with. So those who think "Tony Skinn!, Lamar Butler!, Makan Konate!" you can surrender that dream.

Curious why DJ doesn't hold an offer from UCF. Who has DP had on his distancing dialogs? Anyone interesting there?

I see South Florida, but not Central Florida, on his list. Doesn't mean they didn't offer.

I'm going to go with no? But I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan Frazier didn't get a call (former Bucknell player, from Silver Springs, Maryland edit: looks like he went to high school in Connecticut)?

Lucky for us he wasn’t... not quite sure what awkward Pete did for us other than his inability to speak in the gold room and sitting down the entire game. I think midwestern irrelevant prep school coach is much more his speed

Didn't he take the lead on Henry and Frazier? Wasn't that in one of ByGeorge's interviews?
I don't know anything about the guy, but I think I'm remembering that correctly. Wish him well and hope we can get a good replacement.
Think you are correct. He identified guys (inc Henry) who's stats would translate to the A10. I think Frazier was probably on that shortlist Dave talked about and I think Pete helped with that too.
I'm thinking they'll probably go get some sort of middle of the road assistant since Bryson is the youngest and Duane is the most senior. Probably someone Dave has worked with before for sure though.
Yeah, it sounds like he was a big data analytics guy.
