A10 Conference Tournament Brackets

kenpom is projecting us as 9-9 which would be good for 7th place seeding. If we can get to 10-8 we'd have a shot at 6th--LaSalle is projected also as 10-8 and we'd have the tie-breaker over them.

1. We are not in the PIG game this season.
2. I think the 6 seed is the most ideal spot for Mason. Here is why, the #3 team will be either Richmond or URI (most likely) that would put Mason on course to play them in the QF. I like those match-ups right now. of course that would all hinge on weather Mason wins their first game.
3. to even have these discussions is so refreshing after the last few years. So im going to enjoy it no matter what.

Looking like we will be 7 seed. Can't finish any higher than 6, currently tied with GW/LaSalle at 8-8. GW has tie breaker and we have tiebreaker over everyone else close to us - LaSalle, Davidson and Fordham (both 7-9).

7 plays 10 seed who will likely be Davidson or Fordham, with winner playing 2 seed (likely vcu) in quarterfinals.

Of course if we somehow win last two games, that could bump vcu to 3 seed and keep us as the 6 seed, which means we would still likely play them in quarters.

8 is still a possibility. If GMU and GW split their last two and LaSalle wins its' last two GMU is 8th I believe. Hopefully Mason beats Duquesne and SLU beats LaSalle Wednesday.

As much as we've owned Richmond, beating anyone three times in a year is difficult. I'd take URI though. Ultimately if we make the quarters and put in a respectable showing I'll be thrilled. Depending on how we play Saturday I wouldn't mind a chance to knock vcu out in Pitt.

Couldn't we still be the 8th seed?

If we end up tied with GW and LaSalle, GW would be 6th (they are 2-1 vs us and LaSalle), LaSalle would be 7th (they are 1-1 vs us and GW), and we would be 8th (we are 1-2 vs LaSalle and GW).

Am I missing something?
