Looks like the two perennial DC powers will be going to the dance - Mount St Mary's and American.

Really, it happened twice in our best season ever. The first was at Hofstra right after we became ranked, and the second happened in the CAAT when Tony Skinn nutted Loren Stokes.

Did it ever happen against a last place team that the rest of the A-10 wishes would leave? Um - L had done enough to get us to the tourney that year, so I think I'll forgive him. Made a Final Four I believe. I mean really, why even defend Hewitt at this point? He's got more money for being a crappy D-1 basketball coach than must of us would have in 5 lifetimes.

Yes - but I asked if he lost to him this much. I'm pretty sure L didn't have a .000 winning percentage against Tom Pecora. I'm pretty sure the Loren Stokes led Pride would beat this years Fordham and GMU team by double digits.

At least you didn't lose your teams best pass rusher(Demarcus Ware) your favorite bball player for the rest of the season(Kobe) and see the mess we call a team (Mason). Also have two engineering midterms next week. So hold your head up man.

No pom pom waving here, joey. Merely answered the man's question. In fact, I added to my initial post that those Hofstra teams were much better than this Fordhan team. Not even remotely close. I'm with everybody else here that there needs to be a major overhaul of the program, beginning at the top.

Be grateful that you are still in college. I would trade taking a mid-term for the struggle that is finding full-time work post grad! I'm happy Ware is out of the NFC East, now Eli Manning can throw interceptions to other DE's.

Speaking of that second Hofstra loss in 2006, this tweet by Gary Parrish really pisses me off. I'm not saying BYU is or isn't a bubble team, but it shouldn't matter whether one of their top players is out or not. We were fortunate the committee wasn't as shortsighted when Coach L announced Tony Skinn would miss the first game of the NCAAT if we got in, because our run never would have happened had they left us out of the tournament for that reason.
