So here's my offseason:

Checking the boards every day to see if Hewitt is gone.

It's like the last scene in Good Will Hunting. I don't want a goodbye-- I just want to pull up to the Patriot Center with my Dunkin Donuts and him not to answer the door.

Damn shame our seniors had to go through this year, much respect to J2, Sherrod Wright, and Byron Allen for all the time they spent at GMU. My clock is reset, I'm counting the days until November. Davidson should be a great addition.

Boy - don't remember Jim Larranaga losing to Tom Pecora much. 0-2 against a Tom Pecora coached Fordham team. What the hell does Mason basketball have going for it? Please fire Hewitt.

Recruits be damned - it's obvious at this level that coaching is the difference. What has Hewitt said in the past? Didn't he say it's not X's and O's it's Moe's and Joe's? Well, he ain't getting any Moe's and Joe's into Mason to make up for his coaching deficiencies. We're the worst team in the A-10 in a year that began with some promise. Fire him - please.

Please skunk this coach, his coaches and lets start over again.. just a pathetic, over priced excuse for a coach. No defense, no nothing resembling a team. Only good news for me is I wont waste my money next year on this pathetic program. TOC you suck big time.

Really, it happened twice in our best season ever. The first was at Hofstra right after we became ranked, and the second happened in the CAAT when Tony Skinn nutted Loren Stokes.

The big distinction is that Hofstra team was really could and probably should have been in the NCAAT. This Fordham team is not very good.

Yeah, I don't think they are going to fire Hewitt after this season. They'll just chalk it up to "Well, it was a move to a tougher league and well, its THAT much tougher." If Hewitt does horrible again next year, I think that will be the axe.

Apparently they are no longer deleting bad comments. Go to the Mason Athletics FB page. I posted something hours ago and its still there. The comments that were deleted were on the general Mason FB Page.
