Boy, I'm glad I took some time off from the boards, it's looking pretty toxic around here...
My biggest gripe about the offense is we never ever ever look to pass the ball to the big on the pick and roll, like ever, not when they hedge the screen, not when they double the ballhandler and leave the foward wide the eff open, never! They're leaving 6-8 easy points a game at the rim just not bother to ever look for that pass. So, at this point you've either got to abandon the pick and roll altogether, or you've got to immediately pull any player who passes up a wide open big on a pick and roll and sit their a** on the bench and let them know why they're sitting there.
Tonight, I expect to see at least 3 easy pick and rolls ignored, Hartwell to go 1-8 from 3, AJ to get into early foul trouble, and Oduro and Calixte to combine for fewer than 6 rebounds.
Maybe we win by 1, maybe we lose by 10, depends on how hot Lofton is.
