Definitely A10 over CAA but this game is not exactly a great example of your point. Rams getting a** raped.

Oh come on Chank, dont be cheap. I think we all knew that would happen. I was speaking to the buid up, the excitement these two teams bring vs 2 top CAA teams. One on national Tv, and the other on flosports probably.

We should all be thankful we have ESPN+ as our streaming partner and not Flo -- that should seal the deal for anyone on the fence...

This is complete BS. People responded to an a scenario I came up with that does not represent reality (hopefully). But, even if I bought your misrepresentation of peoples posts that is worthy of today's mass media, neither of those teams are us. It really doesn't do anything for us. Both those teams will likely destroy us (one already did). Our game with them isn't going to draw the same attention.

Taking your scenario as gospel is probably going to be accurate in my opinion, for at least next 5 years. We aren't going anywhere up or down. Maybe down alittle if a rebuild happens. With that said, I would still take the excitement of a conference heavyweight fight on cbs sports vs two CAA schools duking it out on Flo. Although, it does nothing for our team like you claim, it does make us more money having more teams in the Tourney. Being in a mulitple bid league is always better in my opinion.

You can get excited about those games whether you are in that conference or not. Would you want to be Oregon State? They get to see some great matchups between fellow conference mates, but it hasn't seemed to help them recently. They are in a P5 conference and yet they have gone to the NCAA tournament twice in the last 30+ years. Do you think people go, oh, but they are in the Pac 12, and they get beaten up by some impressive teams, so I am impressed by them.

Doesnt change the fact we make, and Oregon St for that matter, make more money being in their respective conferences. There is a better probability with the right leadership, and top 60 or so ranked conference foes, that a program can more quickly catapult into the Dance bc of conference affiliation vs being in current CAA.
