Well clearly his dreams of coaching are done unless he has any evidence of any sort, which I highly doubt.

Disagree. Responding to a mental patient gives credence to his BS. Just ignore him.
he is tweeting at our players and recruits about how our AD is a racist. three days in a row now. Obviously calling good ole Dane didn't help stop this. what do you suggest Mason does? mental patient or not sitting on their thumbs is not what Edwards should be doing

Guy clearly just wants attention/a job. I mean, imagine being so f**king stupid to move to California to work for a company that tries to convince other companies to do rope climbing team building excursions.
I'm sure team building weekend retreats are big right now in the age of Corona, though.
Even with a dad as a head coach its clear he has already failed at his first chosen attempted profession and it won't be long until he comes limping back to the east coast because the rent is too high in LA. Probably like 120k in debt already too from school...if he'd have taken that $ and bought stocks in March he'd be rich, now he's a pretty good bet to end up like Dirk Diggler on Hollywood Boulevard, giving hand jobs to guys in pick up trucks behind the IHOP.

I already said what I think Mason (or any other organization in this position) should do: Ignore him in public.
I’m sure there has been communication behind the scenes — effectively telling him to shut the F up — but it’s PR 101 not to publicly engage somebody who’s clearly making a wild, unfounded accusation.
Recruits and coaches are smart enough to see through this guy’s BS.
I agree, we only stand to lose by doing anything publicly. And to be fair, does anyone trust the AD to not fumble this big time if they publicly engaged with him?
Dudes twitter is all over the place, he tweets at Diddy to fund HBCUs, talks about his support for the president, his love of GeorgeTown and bashes us. Assuming that anyone looking at this guys profile has to see he’s off his rocker.
This is awkward in the near term and if it continues then I think the AD needs to look at other options for dealing with this. As fans, probably best to leave it alone, you don’t wanna mess with crazy, never know what direction it’s going to go (see members of this very board posting names and addresses...) Unless of course your meme/GIF game is strong. That’s usually a good way to deal with crazy, make it into a joke.
PR101 when dealing with someone possibly mental would be to gather a cease and desist on said individual. Would take a public university the size of mason approximately 25 mins to do really. They obviously have not done so as he keeps tweeting and his others haven’t been deleted. You absolutely don’t Respond back to him on Twitter I agree.

C&D for what? He's not doing anything illegal. The tweets are opinion and don't come close to defamation. You could send a C&D to rattle your saber a little, but he doesn't have to be a brain genius to see through it.
They might try to go through Twitter to get the posts taken down but they really don't have much recourse otherwise. No point in signal boosting this dope when no one else is paying attention (except for that awful, awful Coaching Changes account).
C&D is used exactly for that reason. Since we are calling him a bit off I bet you that would work. Einstein isn’t sending these tweets. Just a ropes course instructor that used to work for one of our former assistants

Where did you see this? I would be very disappointed if Lamar thinks in such an ignorant way too.
It isn't anything groundbreaking or new. Lamar has always defended Hewitt and said that he got a raw deal with the A10 transition etc. He said he had to deal with a lot of roster change at GT too. All pointless excuses.
