Saint Joseph's is currently 10-2, 1-0 A-10 on the season, standing second in the Atlantic 10. Their only losses so far this season have been to Utah (71-72, OT) and Villanova (65-81).

Three players are currently averaging double figures in scoring for the Hawks. Junior Laura Ziegler averages a double-double of 17.5 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. She leads the team in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks. Senior Tayla Brugler is second on the team in scoring, averaging 17.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. She is first on the team in field goal percentage and is second in rebounds. Brugler was named A-10 Player of the Week twice at the beginning of this season.

Another notable player is senior Mackenzie Smith who averages 16.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. She leads the team in made three pointers and is second in made free throws.

More seriously, who are the stronger defensive players on the women's team?

This is possibly the biggest regular season conference game in school history (or at least since we were in A10, maybe had some big ones with ODU back in the day).

At large resume/1st place in conference on the line - at home! I know it is a terrible time (noon) but the ladies have more than earned our support and I hope everyone comes who reasonably can.
