WASHINGTON -- The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Richmond junior Maggie Doogan as its Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Massachusetts freshman Yahmani McKayle was chosen as the league’s Rookie of the Week. The awards were announced Monday and are for games played December 2 - 8.

I thought we got out rebounded resulting in 2nd chance opportunities for Georgetown and missed too many bunny shots. But happy for a win. Hopefully this starts a local rivalry.

According to the box score, we did out-rebound the Hoyas overall (44-40). The Hoyas did get 10 offensive rebounds and had 8 second chance points, while Mason got 17 offensive rebounds and 11 second chance points. But Jenkins for them must have been a real bear with 16 rebounds overall.
