Yeah honestly that was a bad result for us. Still nice to see them lose though
If you’re thinking of quality wins don’t bother. Unless we go 16-2 or better we have no at-large chance. And if we do go 17-1 I don’t think it’ll matter much if vcu is 47 or 55 in NET when we do.
It does seem increasingly clear that to maintain first place we might have to beat one (or both) of these teams on the road, which will not be easy and we simply CANNOT drop any home games the rest of the season.
I’d prefer not to lose to to GW and Richmond on the road (for obvious reason) but willing to sacrifice Davidson or Duquesne to the basketball gods to sweep SLU and vcu this year.
