Mason is one of several schools in contact with Murray State PF Nicholas McMullen.

His numbers don’t pop off the page but I would take him in a second. Very athletic 6-8 guy who would make an immediate impact defensively and on the glass.

1) how does he do against better talent/competition?
2) how does he do in an offense not chosen by his dad?

I’d be very okay with this. I should note that Offurum is visiting next week.

Well I hope we Offurhim a scholarship while he's here.

What did Kim English say about the guy from Fordham that scored 20 points on 24 attempts or something like that???

Brandon Huntley-Hatfield released his final 5 and to nobody’s surprise Mason was not one of them

SMU, Auburn, Wake Forest, Arizona State, and Louisville is an interesting and seemingly unrelated list of schools. Hard to find the common thread there.

Would love to see your list then.
Barthelemy was my No. 1, bummed that we’re not even getting a visit. Really thought he would be a significant impact player in the A-10.

Jahmir Young was and is a pipe dream.

Also like Cam Spencer a lot, but he’s probably going from Loyola (Md.) to Loyola (Ill.), as well as Cam Wynter who’s off to Penn State.

Honestly I prefer Rudi Williams to Sessoms and not just because we still have a chance with him … obviously played at a much lower level, but he’s longer and a better 3-point shooter and we need that at the PG spot to punish teams for doubling Oduro.

So your list is a bunch of guys we have no shot with - lol

It’s not that I thought Sessoms was the best of the bunch… I thought he was one of the few we actually had a shot with that is an upgrade over what we had. I agree Rudi Williams would be higher on my list than Sessoms, but if we don’t get him, we are going to have to grasp and might end up with the Joel Kabimba of point guards.

When you throw out the guys that had previously played for our staff, our track record for transfers so far is Cooper and Kabimba.

That’s all true … except I don’t concede we had “no shot” with the other guys I mentioned. I assumed this staff would be able to recruit on that level but it seems the portal is a different animal.
