I thought he wasn’t transferring but testing the waters with the NBA?

Just putting the puzzle pieces together. He’s not going back to play his senior season with an almost entirely new team unless he has no other options, which he most likely will.

4 of 5 transfers have transferred down conferences though... not like they are going to equivalent or better schools

Toppin and Martin are the ones that really matter. Long looked to be a decent rotation piece, too. None of them got pushed out — they left on their own.

Also look out for Jermaine Harris ... word is he’s looking to go too.

So, you're saying that he will either go pro or enter the transfer portal?

Yes. There are dozens of kids in the portal who put in their transfer papers because they were assured they’ll be immediately eligible at their new school. I wouldn’t be shocked if Fatts ends up at UConn with Hurley.

I know they will have a young team next year, but my point was they still dont' have a transfer. One of the few teams in the league that don't at this juncture.

Not surprised given the makeup of their roster. Other than Santos-Silva, their returning players don’t have any better options.

But they’re bringing in several highly ranked freshmen so if those kids are good enough to play right away, they’ll have some other guys leave after next season.

Shit forgot about him. I knew I was missing somebody LOL

Lol thats who I was thinking of specifically. "Hmm let me sit out a year (or not, TBD) and gain weight and shoot the lights out for a BCS program"...

I'm excited about Polite going up against Bones though.

Me too. Same body types but different games. Should be fun.

A bigger blow to vcu is that Santos-Silva just announced he’s transferring for his senior year.

These kids must know the NCAA is going to approve the 1 time transfer rule in May.

That’s a huge loss. Have to wonder why he didn’t want to stick around to finish out his career there. I imagine their boards have gone nuclear.

Wow that's huge news.

Something happened to that team after we beat them and I can't put my finger on it.

vcu's Vince Williams posted on Twitter right after we beat them starting that the boat wasnt right and needed to be fixed.

Since that statement, DeRiante Jenkins left the team with like 3 games left in the season, now MSS transferred.
