Random hypothetical I found myself thinking of when I was driving home from work tonight:
15 seconds left in the second half, we have possession following a dead ball, down 1, who do you want taking the shot? What about down 2? Down 3?
I don't disagree. Would be a bit worried that Miller would be too passive for a final possession, but at the same time would be worried that Greene would put his head down and draw an offensive foul. Tough call to make.Down 1 or 2? Greene or Miller going to the basket. Down 3? Kolek.

It's wild to think that a true freshman is honestly our best offensive option for a final possession no matter the situation. Again, don't disagree.Miller (1,2) or Kolek (3) fine for any or maybe I'd draw up a pick and pop for Oduro or him as a trailer for a surprise two.
Calixte possibly just for shits and giggles.
Herndon would get on a day later and tell us that if we spent more money Calixte wouldn’t need to take the final shot. It's wild to think that a true freshman is honestly our best offensive option for a final possession no matter the situation. Again, don't disagree.
I shutter at the thought of what these boards would do, myself included, if Calixte was on the floor, let alone took a potential game winning shot.
I can picture it now, entry pass bounces off his hands, he trips, grabs the ball, and stands up to dunk it, then gets called for the travel.
People would be slinging their shit at the walls like we were in a f*cking zoo. The servers would crash under the stress.

I know the exact game you are talking about and can’t remember who we were playing for the life of me. Want to say it was in the nonconference for some reason but can’t remember.Actually reminds me of that one time under Hewitt we were in that situation and Copes was on the floor and he gets the pass and actually buries the 8 footer to win the game, the most unlikely player on the floor hitting that shot in that moment. I wish I could remember who we were playing.
And I think he tried to go to that well in the very next game and it went terribly terribly badly.

Speaking of game-winning shots, how about this one -View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUYUi2HYgd0?
What are the major differences in the players Coach L recruited vs DP? I too have noticed a difference even going back to watch games from mid 2000's. Curious if anyone see it too.

We have no dogs. A bunch of school children. Gotta have 1-2 dogs per team to help in situationsNot that they were fighting every game, but there were also plenty of games if there was a hard foul someone would run up and get in someones face. Like the guy who sprinted down the floor to shove AJ in the Norfolk State game would have been decked by Pearson and or Morrison.
