I'd be really interested in hearing what's going on behind the scenes in our own non-conference scheduling. Seems like a lot of the A-10 has already started to press forward on getting stuff on the books.

Source: Dayton and Ole Miss still plan to begin their home-and-home series this season on Dec. 19th at UD Arena. Flyers are going to get multiple opportunities to move the needle.

Richmond now has confirmed games for next season at both Kentucky and West Virginia. Chris Mooney should have his best team since the 2011 Sweet 16 squad.

Dave said in the interview last week that they’re working out the details of at least one and possibly two MTEs so the schedule could look quite different when all is said and done.

That's the thing though, we didn't have a complete schedule before COVID. We usually take 1-2 buy games of our own each year (probably to fund a majority of the cupcakes we schedule). I imagine we pay less than most other teams that the Americans, JMUs, and Navys of the world are getting paid to play and are low on their priority list to nail down dates for.

It's gotta be a nightmare for us to try to reschedule all of those, all while still trying to find a somewhat local buy game for ourselves so we aren't 150 grand in the whole (or whatever the number we usually get for going to play a P5 is, I honestly don't know). It's a tiny bit worrying that the rest of the conference is moving forward and announcing games/dates and we've been radio silent.
