This feels like a force out because he was benched at the most critical part of the season and DP told Petey to his face, after our A10 tourney exit, that we need to get more athletic.. quickly. Given that you’re probably more athletic than Jarred, he seemed like the odd man out.

I think he was benched because he physically couldnt go. Its hard to be athletic if you are hurt. The question I have is why was his health never discussed. Unless his injury wasnt as bad as I was lead on to believe.

I think they are trying to do him a favor by not bringing it to the attention of any possible destinations. He is pretty banged up.

This whole situation was embarrassing, there’s no other real way to look at it. From top 5 in the A10 to forgoing his senior year....who else thinks he was asked to leave?

More embarrassing then you guys saying he was a top 5 player in the A-10? :eatingfingers:

Breaking my fast... RJ Cole from Howard has entered the transfer portal. We need to sign him yesterday... Shoot first guard who can flat out score.... we have nobody like that on our roster....

Agreed. Not sure how he ended up at Howard to begin with, but the kid can really play. Would be perfect to sit out this year, then be eligible when Kier and Boyd move on.

As awesome as it would be for him to come to Mason, no way it happens. He declared for the draft and when we withdraws his name from the draft he’ll be picking a much larger stage than I believe we can give him. It’ll be a P5 school. I would absolutely love to be wrong, we need a kid like this.

His former head coach at Howard is available. Maybe DP can pull a good ol’ 2 for 1 deal like “The Virus” did to get Copes. Hire Nickelberry as an assistant if he can land Cole.

No please God no, even if you are only joking, let’s not do anything like that clown did it.:vomit:

JAG and Grady both just declared for the draft. I doubt either will wind up leaving, but if either or both do, that would be a giant blow to Davidson and our overall conference strength.

Obi Toppin declared for the draft as well.

Who hasnt declared? I expect NBA or NCAA to make a change quickly.

Looks like those that have declared have until June 10th to withdraw their names if they want to return to school. I think they should have every opportunity to explore their draft interest, but it must be hell for coaches to have to wait so long to find out if they have voids to fill and scholarships available.

Any pro team foreign or domestic will perform due diligence before signing a prospective player.

My question is, why does everyone assume that Reuter "seeking professional opportunities" is directly related to playing ball? If Reuter is as banged up as some are saying then I would think that he's probably pursuing a coaching career, no?
