This whole situation was embarrassing, there’s no other real way to look at it. From top 5 in the A10 to forgoing his senior year....who else thinks he was asked to leave?

I think his injuries are bad enough that he figures if he is going to make any $$ playing overseas, he needs to go now before his body gives out on him.

I don't think it makes any sense to ask Reuter to leave given what we have returning at this position. Calixte has developed into a solid defender, whose offensive game is slowly coming along. AJ is a ball of erratic energy who can look like an all-conference player on one possession, and a back up at Bowie St on the next. Oduro shouldn't see the floor this year.. not even the layup line.

What makes you so sure that he was asked to leave? From DP’s comments, I don’t think that was the case.

Either way, I’m surprised that it’s Reuter that is leaving. A bunch of you guys called it awhile ago. I just fail to see why we aren’t recruiting another post player for next year. Oduro better be ready, and Calixte better stay healthy.

I think we’ll again go to a small ball lineup at times with Jordan Miller and Mar playing the forward positions with three other guards. I also don’t think we should rule out DP landing a late big man commit.

This feels like a force out because he was benched at the most critical part of the season and DP told Petey to his face, after our A10 tourney exit, that we need to get more athletic.. quickly. Given that you’re probably more athletic than Jarred, he seemed like the odd man out.

For some reason I buy this, I think him and Dave probably had a man to man discussion about realistic expectations for PT next year. Literally have nothing to base that off of other than it’s what I wanted to have happened.

Either way, addition by subtraction. Time to see how Dave handles roster management as some on here have been discussing. Need to sign an immediate impact big man as we are suddenly severely lacking in that department.

If DP calls a team in Poland and asks about Reuter getting on their roster I guess you can call that "Exploring Professional Opportunities" or whatever the school release called it. SMH.
