New coach.... Hoiberg3-star recruit Mika Adams-Woods got his release from Nebraska as well. Something should be brewing.

Right . . . It’s not like he just made a statement about needing more athleticism on the team or anything.Probably too athletic or too jocky for DP.
However, there are 0 scholarships remaining.
DP can make room. Just ask Dixon, Murrel et al.
heavy rumors as of now is whether or not Reuter can physically return next year. Just to be transparent, I'm not sure if this rumor is true or not, but I have heard through the grapevine that he is weighing a possible hip replacement surgery. It surely would explain a lot of things, like his lack of lateral movement, inability to jump, etc. The only other person who couldn't be happy with his role would be Jason Douglas-Stanley. I don't see his minutes per game increasing at all next season. Javon regressed mightily in February and March as well, but he was a starter all year.
you're right. Paulsen is the one that has deserved the boos from the beginning regarding this kid. Hopefully he retires from basketball and we can get a scholarship back for Paulsen to blow on a 6 ft 6 kid with 0 other offers that our cheerleaders will get extremely hyped about. If true about the hip, I hope everyone that shit on him throughout the year feels a little remorse. Not just on these boards but in my section at EBA, our own fans were continuously booing him. Even though they look like grown a** giant men, its hard to forget that these are still kids with feelings.
The way he runs it definitely looked like something was wrong. Hip injuries are no joke. He probably played through pain while giving his all only to eventually get bashed on by his own fans and ultimately missing out on a National Championship Ring because he wanted to continue to play the game he loves.

If a person can barely walk right maybe they should consider retiring... especially if they are 23
Still don't understand why he got so many minutes. I thought DP was giving him time to knock the rust off, but giving so many minutes to an injured player makes no sense. Unless the staff didn't know he was injured... but like you said "The way he runs it definitely looked like something was wrong"If true about the hip, I hope everyone that shit on him throughout the year feels a little remorse. aren't you personal friends with VCUPAV and tweet often at players and coaches Jim.... or is that another guy with your name that tweets at 18 year old kids about how much you like them?I’d imagine he’s a real delight to deal with in real life.
Texas Tech kid had a good coach, Luke Hancock had good coaches... Marquise and Otis were very fun and have made Paulsen's tenure less painful... but did they win anything? sometimes you shouldn't ask questions you don't want answers to. I don't want to talk about how shitty our program was during Quise and Goatis' careers were but you bring it upDidn’t Mikesell get hip replacement surgery too?
You mean like that Texas Tech kid who had 1 scholarship offer from Air Force and was playing for a national chAmpionship, or Like Hancock who had 1 offer from us and that’s it? Or Otis who had no offers, or Marquise Moore who had 1 offer from Hofstra when he originally committed? Like those losers?

I feel you man, I'm not sold on DP either.Texas Tech kid had a good coach, Luke Hancock had good coaches... the only thing I am talking about here is Paulsen is not a good coach man. simple as that. We need to try and recruit more "ready to succeed" players because Paulsen consistently puts our less skilled recruits in losing scenarios (i.e horrible offensive game planning that doesn't work, bad defense for our players skill sets, horrible inbounds plays, players are horrible first 10 mins of the game most of the time because they don't seem prepared at all) I mean come on. what more do we need to see? We might win 10 in the A-10 again next year but we are going to fall below Richmond, Duquesne, SLU and URI. does that make you happy? So it’s not the players it’s the coach? So their scholarship offers out of high school have no bearing on their future potential? See where you are getting twisted up?
You're probably right man... mason hoops in general is too much flowers and candy.... Hewitt really f'd our fanbase up.... We need less Swimoms and people that tweet at players how much they love them and more people who want to hold Paulsen accountable for being a piss poor coach.I feel you man, I'm not sold on DP either.
Besides Jim, No one here has said Paulsen is without faults.
But man... you seem to jump all over anyone who says anyting less than Paulsen is Hitler.
