Jim in your opinion where does Burton fall between all the other PG’s we’ve been tied to in this 2018 recruiting class?

If I can share a quick thought on this in addition to Jim's highly anticipated comments... based on film, Burton is far and away the most complete player of the group.

Agreed. There’s a reason why Temple brought Jamarius in for a visit and Butler is trying to get him to come out to Indy. Those programs highly value guys who play both ends of the floor.

If he hadn’t hurt his knee and lost his junior season — which for many kids is the most important point of the recruiting cycle — I have zero doubt he’d already be committed to an ACC program.

Also this — I am now incredibly thankful that UMass got Tre Wood and we didn’t. No offense to the young man, but Burton plays on a completely different level and his toughness is a perfect fit for Dave.

Probably best to do what my wife does ... ignore about half of everything I say.

I always find it weird when a couple of our fans (MasonFanatic and the lady that loves Otis) tweet at our players every single day during the season. I'll pass

1) Man up and tag me next time.
2) Show me the last time I tweeted at a player more than once every couple of weeks (not counting replies). It doesn't happen. And tagging players in news or stats about them is more about common courtesy than "tweeting at them"
3) The coaches have said that the players enjoy hearing from the fans so when they're doing something right, I'm going to tell them. Same thing when they're down and I want them to know the fans have their backs.
4) If anyone within the program has a problem with me, I'm sure they'll tell me. So far all I've heard is keep doing what I'm doing. Shockingly, that matters to me far more than an anonymous message board troll.
5) It's good to know I have fans.

This is what our fan base is until we make the tournament again. And another 5'10" 150 lb PG probably isn't going to help that...

Yah that guy has no clue what he's talking about. UMBCs PG was like 5'5 and 130lbs.

I said I find it weird, which I do.... Didn't say I had a problem with you doing it... Keep on tweeting at 18 year old basketball players... maybe they do enjoy it maybe they also think it's find of weird
