way to correct me on the big 4 points, Pablo....Nice digging. Can you briefly describe how averaging 1 point per year over 4 years is anything to brag about? The kid stole a free education from GMU. He was a cheerleader on our bench, nothing more than that.
The kids story is great.. Don't think Pablo was bragging about him on the court... Do you feel the same way about Danny Dixon? I was just a kid and not a Mason fan when Kanote played at Mason so I don't know how he hurt you so bad. Busts happen but the kids story is great. bad recruiting by whoever signed him

Did you bother to read the link? While you begrudged his athletic scholarship, his coaches, teammates, and most fans appreciated what a Makan Konate means to the program. You just don't get it, and I seriously doubt that you ever will. Have a nice day!

Pablo, this post was about a McDonald's All-American Nominee award, not a chance for you to push your feel-good story from 2006 agenda on me. I don't have time to read your link or divest too much time in 98% of your posts.

Back to recruiting talk.

I wouldn't exactly call it "steal." He was offered a scholarship, accepted, and didn't pan out. It happens all the time. I think it's honorable Coach L didn't just ditch him or push him out of the door.

At the very least, he was a body to play on the scout team in practice when we had a short bench.

Goanar Mar continues to shred the competition. "Only" 17 rebounds tonight. Can't wait to see him in

GIVING DAY 2023
Easy answer. Paulsen and playing time.

Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk

Four-year starter playing time under a proven championship-caliber coach in the nation's seventh-best basketball conference.

There's a lot to like about all of that.

Fortunately there are kids out there smart enough to look beyond the whole "power" conference hype.

"proven championship-caliber" might be a big of a stretch, d3 and d1 is a big difference. None the less I think Mason has a lot to offer.

Paulsen won four regular-season conference championships in his seven years at Bucknell.

I would call that "proven championship caliber."

Fair, To be honest I am surprised he left Bucknell for Mason. He probably could of held out for power conference job.

Fortunately for us, he saw potential in the Mason program and had a good sense of how to capitalize on it (unlike other nameless individuals).
