There are "offers" and then there are offers. The key in understanding how recruiting works is to recognize the difference.

Actual commits to BCS schools now heading to the arts school. we need to step it up next year. these little guys we signed are okay, but physically, they are behind a BCS commit, which puts us even more behind the curve. Unless of coarse they both turn out to be Okajokes.

At the end of the day let's not forget vcu was a top 25 program the past two or three seasons. We have some catching up to do but I'm optimistic that Paulsen and staff will do it.

Sounds like Hewitt logic. "They will be great if they are tall." Dude, they were committed to Minnesota and St. John's, not Kentucky or Louisville. None of our recruits are really "behind" any of these guys. Remember Luke's recruitment? Remember Erik Copes?

You mentioned "tall". I think there is a difference in body maturity and strength when comparing them. You would be hard pressed not to find a difference body wise in these guards, imo.

The guard they got is 6'3" and 180 lbs, not exactly a beast of a man. My point is, just because they switched from a BCS (where we got Blewitt from) school doesn't make them inherently better. And they didn't switch from a school where they would have expected a ton of PT. I just don't like to impugn the value of our recruits because vcu got two guys to switch from UMinn and St. John's. Let me know when they steal a starter from Calipari and I will be sure to shit my pants.
