Where do you pregame?

A lot of good people in the gold room each game. So you're a diehard fan but don't donate $400? I guess that speaks volumes about this fan base.

It is $500 per seat to get gold room passes, not $400.

Regarding Oh George, the prices seemed normal to me (at least for the DC area), but it is odd about the lack of happy hour specials. How many wings did you get?

I think they are still getting their footing, but you can make reservations, which is a nice touch.

Will echo the negative review of Oh George. Shame too as Brion's could certainly use some competition. The bartenders at that place have the personality of doorknobs and were 100% responsible for escalating a nothing comment into an almost fight and several people being kicked out. Manager did his job and had his employees backs, as he should, but I hope in retrospect those bartenders get shown the exit door themselves.

The Brion's event was actually very well done. Buffet food was actually good and well stocked and staff was running all over to keep plates bussed and drinks moving. In retrospect I wish I'd have stayed there longer.

400 for graduates of under 4 years. That is what I pay

I have been a season ticket holder and donated for 4 years now. Does the 400 include both the ticket and free pregame?

Out of towner who bypassed Oh George for Fat's. Happy with the decision and cheaper prices. A little on the divey side but we didn't care - good service and friendly bartenders. Sounds like we missed some excitement at Oh George. Damn.

Yes, your total donation amount to the Patriot Club is used to calculate both seat location priority and your hospitality access. It's a little complicated, but here is the general structure:

For seat location, there are donation levels, e.g. $0, $50, $200, $400, $750, etc per seat.
For hospitality access, you get one Gold Room pass for every $500 donated (I believe this is bronze level PC donor status)
So if you donated $500/seat you would get the $400 level seating location and the Gold Room pass.

If you received your undergraduate degree in the last 5 years, there is a prorated discount on the bronze level donor status and a discount on the season ticket price, but I believe you still have to donate the full seat location level (or accept seats outside the priority sections).

I don't understand the need to attack other posters because they don't have green/gold room access. Everyone has different financial situations and different priorities. I've never been a big money donor or had hospitality room passes (next year will be my first -I've always preferred pre-gaming at Fat's or other places) but I'd bet I've spent more money traveling to support the team and been to more games, home and away, then most who do.

Donation level is not the only measure of fandom, and there is no reason to go after someone who is obviously making an effort to support the program.

FWIW, I ran errands and had a Dave's Triple signature burger at Wendy's after the game. :)
To be honest I had no idea Fat's was still open, haven't been there in ages.

This might be your problem.

LOL!!! I thought it was the phone to be honest (had a 4S till recently). AT&T has an app that you can report issues, which I attempted to do.

Or as someone else said, it is too much concrete. I have no problems in other parts of University Mall.

Business School Alumni Association is holding a Happy Hour at Brion's before the vcu Game.

HH and Game ticket = $25

Received it in my email the other day and figured I would post if there are any who are interested.

Grab your family or friends and join your fellow alumni for this year's Mason Means Business Night! We'll start with happy hour at Brion's Grille, where you'll enjoy appetizers and two drinks, then head across the street to the EagleBank Arena for the School of Business Night and cheer on George Mason men's basketball team as they take on longtime conference rival vcu.

Anything designed and built prior to the early 1990s didn't factor in widespread cell service. I worked in a renovated WWII era building which had practically zero connectivity because it was designed to survive an Axis attack (literally).
