I'll take bad decisions for $1000 Alex. Who the hell is advising Porter or is he delusional? He carved himself a nice stint at ODU and he's most likely going to be a role player his last year.

Nevada is a great program but a top 100 recruit doesn't come very often.
Pretty sure Nevada is going to keep the new recruit happy and make sure he gets playing time to avoid a transfer.

He chose Nevada over Stanford, UCLA, Arizona etc......

Yea, she was cut unfortunately after the 2nd or 3rd preseason game. Got limited minutes in the few games she played.

Yes, but also much less competition to do so .. thus the reason there are only 12 teams.

Minimum wage in the NBA is nearly 1 million per year and if you make to a second year, 1.6 million.

I don't know what the minimum wage in the WNBA is but the average salary is $50,000.

The WNBA is not necessarily the be all and end all for most top female college players unlike the men. In fact, I just read an article about a UCLA player (forgot which one) who wanted to play in the WNBA but got an offer from a tech firm (her major was computer science) that was almost 3 times what she would be making in the WNBA right out of college. She declined the WNBA's offer.

So... going to Europe next week, arriving on 5/26. Randomly thought to look up where some of our players are currently playing to see if any of their seasons are still going on. First player search was Ryan Pearson - he has a playoff game on 5/26 in Dijon, 30 minutes from where we are staying in Beaune. Front row seats behind bench are only 22 euro!!!!

We are flying standby, so may not arrive in time, but if we do we'll be digging out our fear the beard shirts and our beards!

Bonus - former Miami player Rion Brown also plays for them

Just purchased 2 courtside seats next to team bench to see Ryan Pearson lead JDA Dijon Basket against Limoges in game 2 of their playoff series Saturday (only 44 euro!). Just have to figure out how to get back to our hotel 40 mins away after game (too late for train).

Will bring back some fancy mustard for Chank.
