My guess is he entered the draft to just keep his options open. Russell Wilson was drafted by the Rangers....

I wonder why Shevon is staying in the States. He could make way more money in Europe.

Many college players take a shot at the NBA D League because they feel it is their last possible shot at the NBA. They usually stay in the D-League for one or two years and when iut doesn't pan out, they wise up and move on to Europe/Turkey/Israel/Australia etc... and make some decent money.

This is two leagues below the D League though....

"Artist Bio

I am Gyll Therence Mayimba AKA TMAY CRAFTY. I am from Libreville, Gabon/Africa and unfortunately I was born in one of the poorest place you can imagine in Africa and I had to do all kinds of jobs to take care of my family and still persu my dream to become an icon in African music/basketball and most importantly to be an ambassador of the African culture throughout the world. In 2012 created I created HOLY CRAFTY MUSIC which comes with The JUNGLE TRAP, and The MOBIL dance. I use it to bring all culture together and to make something in which all race could relate to but most importantly, I use it to spread the good word and my message across the world. I came to America in October 2011 as an sophomor in high school and I played basketball for coach Stu Vetter at Montrose Christian located in Rockville Maryland. I was at Montrose until I transfered to Saint James School in Hagerstown Maryland. I graduated from Saint James School in 2013 and signed with George Mason University located in Fairfax, Virginia. I found myself ineligible to play basketball at that level division 1 which I knew I would definitely dominate but some people decided that I would never play this game at that level. By the way I always dreamed to play D1 just to prove to myself that I could do it. But I guess life is how it is.
Since than I dedicated myself in my music and fans more than I ever did before!
THE LORD gave multiple talents. I will make this a heck of a story to tell but most importantly, a story to learn from.
