"Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia (La Liga) signed 30-year-old American 201cm power forward Jalen Jenkins (college: GMU, agency: Players Group) for the upcoming season. Jenkins played most recently at Ovarense in the Portuguese Liga Betclic. In 28 games, he averaged 10.8ppg, 5.8rpg, and 2.3apg last season, helping them reach the semifinals.

Jenkins is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Belgium (Limburg United), Bulgaria (Rilski), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Iceland (KR Reykjavik), Sweden (Uppsala), and The Basketball Tournament (Brooklyn V.).

He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Honorable Mention in 2019.
Jenkins graduated from George Mason University in 2017 and it'll be his eighth season in pro basketball."

"At least two of the players on the Clippers' roster for Tuesday's game will be returning to Frontwave Arena to play for their NBA G League affiliate, the San Diego Clippers — small forwards Trentyn Flowers and Jordan Miller, who are both on two-way contracts, which limit them to being active for 50 games with the NBA Clippers."

"Miller averaged 1.6 points in eight games for the Clippers last season after being selected in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft after helping lead Miami to its first Final Four. Miller's coach with the Hurricanes was Jim Larrañaga, the father of Clippers' assistant coach Jay Larrañaga."

"Jamaican Center Shevon Thompson (213-C-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for Sluc Nancy Basket Pro, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.

The 31-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 18 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Strasbourg (2-3) 76-96. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Sluc Nancy moved-up to the 12th position in French Betclic ELITE ProA. Nancy is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 3rd lost game this season out of 5 games. In the team's last game Thompson had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Sluc Nancy and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former George Mason University star has very solid stats this year. Thompson is in league's top in points (4th best: 17.8ppg) and averages impressive 60.3% FGP."

"Fairfax, Va.— George Mason University's men's and women's basketball programs welcome back notable alumni this season as color commentators for their home game broadcasts on ESPN+. Former standout players Chris Fleming '09, Jen Surlas '01, Debbie Taneyhill '92, and Will Thomas '08 will join the Patriots' broadcast team, alongside veteran play-by-play announcers Bill Rohland and Steve Kolbe.

These four alumni were integral members of some of the most celebrated teams in the history of the Green and Gold. Fleming and Thomas were teammates on the 2006 NCAA Final Four squad and the 2008 NCAA Tournament team. Coach Taneyhill and Surlas contributed to the program's first Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) appearance, with Taneyhill later leading the team to its second postseason berth in 2004."

"These alumni will split the duties across the 16 men's and 15 women's home basketball games on ESPN+ this season."

I'm a big fan of Bill, we're lucky to have him. However, adding Chris Fleming to the broadcast was a breath of fresh air and added some great context to the game. It's hard to be on the mic and sound relaxed and confident, but Chris sounded like he'd done it before.
