Did Pat Kennedy have a longevity bonus? If so, I bet they fired him before he earned it. Everyone keeps using the before the end of the season metric. I'd like to see the metric on how many coaches were fired within two weeks after earning a longevity bonus. I bet there will only be one example you can find if we don't fire Hewitt before Sunday. I bet most coaches are fired within a month before earning a longevity bonus.

For those of us that actually attend the games and have had the pleasure of reading Brad Edward's body language.....I don't see how BE allows him to return. Brad Often looks down right angry and embarrassed during the games. I can't imagine the financial damage that would take place if PH is retained.

Amongst others methods to pay the cock gobbler off,........Our travel budget for just the mens team is about equal to Hewitt's salary. Stop going to spain, virgin islands, hawaii etc and trim that by half (650k to 325k) and you have your buyout money in two years. In addition to cutting travel, adding guaranteed games vs Maryland, Kentucky or whoever wants an easy win for a six figure payout is another revenue stream. We have the money to fire him and we have ways to make more. We could of had alot more saved, instead we let TOC and Hewitt take trips to fancy islands.

I think the press conference (or press release) announcing Hewitt's firing happens the Monday morning after the A10 tournament final and selection Sunday in order to not conflict with the A10's spotlight.
