No clue on this kids talent as I have never seen him play. Sounds like mostly everyone Is in that same boat. A highlight video is exactly that. Now if we can find game tape to analyze that is another thing lol

Looks like he just was more athletic than anyone defending him in the video, which is usually tough to translate to the college level. Didn’t have terrible handles but didn’t look like he’s going to be beating a ton of A10 defenders off the dribble immediately. Don’t know if I saw a single pass in any of the videos so not much to go on there. Would be interested in what drew the staff to him, in the last by George podcast Dave talked about looking at stats that they thought translated well to find under the radar kids.

I always take recruiting videos with a grain of salt. Any athletic high school kid can dunk if he has an open lane going against smaller, slower players, and it's certainly not tough for any HS kid to put a short video together of him hitting wide open 3s.

As has been stated here by others, it will be interesting to see how his game translates against A10 competition. What I do like is that you can't teach athleticism, height or moxie, and he appears to flash all three in that brief video.
