I agree, after the max 2 players per school rule it's worthless. I was just thinking in terms of my own summer entertainment, would have been nice to see some players.

He didn't post one but he plays today at 3:40 for either Clydes or Curt Smith. I don't know who Otis or Jaire are playing for, can't find the rosters.

other than 3 point shooting every other part of his game has gotten noticeably better. Better passer, better defender and much stronger beating guys off the dribble getting to the basket and finishing in traffic.

Part of that is he's still got a slow release and being asked to shoulder more of the PG duties makes him more of a focus of the defense. He isn't getting the wide open looks popping out from the 4 position like he did last year.

Other than that, I concur with GMU_DCU, every other aspect of his game has improved.

Strongly disagree that he isn't getting wide open looks. Teams are playing way off him the same way they did Marquise last year. Last night he caught a pass from Otis on the wing where there was no defender within 12 feet. He hesitated and put the ball on the ground when probably 98% of other guards in the country would have put up a shot. He doesn't shoot if he's even remotely contested, and it kills our spacing.

I swear Otis would have two more assists per game if we had anyone other than Jaire who could hit threes. Kier won't take them, Javon misses almost every single one, and Boyd + Mar are 30% shooters. Terrible recipe for a guard-heavy offense.

I love seeing the behind the scenes stuff... just seeing what the living accommodations are like these days is cool for me. I wish Mason would do more to showcase these kids like videos like this. Something like this would be perfect for the summer and their weekly features they do.
