I know some one said it on here somewhat jokingly but we might actually have to worry that he’ll draw interest from P5s and transfer for his last year. Hope that’s not the case because seems like we’re gonna have something special next year, maybe with a taste of it this year, and he’s the main reason.

not something I ever thought about his first two years. Seems like he’s learning from coaches and theirs a connection that means something to him and he stays.

There’s shady stuff with coaches inappropriately contacting players before they declare. Let’s hope he ignores them.

Not a joke. I hope it doesn’t happen but it is inevitably an option. Stay at mason please

I’m guessing that you also believe Josh Oduro should go DIII after your evisceration of his 18 year old abilities. Young man is a high IQ guy with big upside. You killed the kid by name w/o ever mentioning yours.

It sure felt like last year's scheme was designed to fit Reuters talents. This further convinces me that Reuter had to have gotten hurt and had it linger all season.

I just have a hard time with the notion that a coach as experienced as Paulsen would see a guy practice for a year and scrimmage against his own guys, and make the statements he did, and implement the schemes he did, for a guy who looked like Reuter did during the regular season.

I have to believe that he was looking like some sort of dominant player, and then got hurt.

It feels like too catastrophic of a miss for a guy who in my opinion has shown that he is no worse than a competent coach at the a-10 level.

Trust me, he was hurt.

I was not a huge supporter of AJ getting minutes over the past two years because I felt for every nice play, he made a mistake that cost us. He has really improved in that area this year - he always made plays, but the mistakes have really dropped. So glad to see it because he seems like such a great kid off the court.

The thing that really stood out to me yesterday was how his shot blocking got into the heads of NMSt and a few times in the second half they had opportunities to attack the basket, but were scared of AJ. I’ve never been a big block shots guy (I blame Coach L and his philosophy of block shots), but yesterday showed he can change the game and demoralize opponents with his defense.

Great job AJ!

If the rumors are true that he was listening to his family/friends over the coaching staff in previous years then Paulsen was right to bench him. Just shame he didn't come to his senses earler but we are all dumb at that age.

☝️ you can probably blame one physco dad who now wears purple with infecting players with false ideas.

There were a couple of plays yesterday where you could tell he wanted to launch nine feet in the air on what was an obvious shot fake, but didn’t. The maturity is really starting to show in less obvious ways than the stat line.

I think the athletic department needs to put warning signs around the first row of EBA:
