Always surprised to see copes at 4. I really have no recollection of him in a Mason uniform or on the court, let alone blocking that many shots. Perhaps I’ve successfully wiped that era from my memory.
And Copes did that in only 3 seasons too.

He's Peterson's cousin...Who is this Evan Coupes character you guys are talking about?
Team would be 1-5 without him this year. This thanksgiving we have something to be thankful for.
It was a great ACC audition for him. I’m super happy
We shoulda gone zone. Didnt expect to win but DP could of changed it up on a streaky shooting team.
I think overall I’m just frustrated with what I interpret as DP’s stubbornness. I could be off base, but the game plan seems to be the same no matter who we play. Game after game, we see pretty much 1 offensive set and 1 set defense. Even if we can’t play zone, flashing it once or twice every few minutes would at least slow down and put some uncertainty in the other team.We suck at playing zone. And before you point out that we were having a hard time guarding them in man, that doesn’t automatically mean switching to a zone would’ve made things better.
I’m super happy that the kid is thriving. Shoulda been treated better is all. No offense taken. So you are super happy that he might go play for another school next season? No offense but you are strange.

This frustrates me as well. I’m also frustrated that Paulsen doesn’t exploit mismatches. Instead he matches the opposing teams’ lineup. If they go small, mason goes small. If they go big, Mason goes big. But, hey, mason is 5-1. So what do I know?I think overall I’m just frustrated with what I interpret as DP’s stubbornness. (Note: It did look like he may have tried a box-and-1 at one point after the game was well out of reach.)
Dude. Tell me where Mason had ANY mismatch in their favor vs. UMd.This frustrates me as well. I’m also frustrated that Paulsen doesn’t exploit mismatches. Maryland "going small" is the same as us "going big". No real choice but to try and go as big as possible in that game. This frustrates me as well.
