I just hope he is healthy. Im guessing we are gonna work him out and talk to Coach K first before the deal is done. Lord knows we dont need anymore bigs with knee problems. I would temper expectations.

Everything I've read is that he's healthy, take that for what it's worth.

The best part is we don't need him to average a double-double. We're gonna be a perimeter-oriented team; we just need him to be a strong, veteran presence in the paint.

As a fifth-year senior at 6-9, 260, I think Obi certainly can do that.

Obi definitely has one year of eligibility and can immediately play next season at the school to which he transfers.

Obi may petition the NCAA for a second year of eligibility due to his injuries. It's very unusual to be granted a "sixth" year, but Obi may have a case...

We can sign Calixte and develop him to be the man in the middle and then hold the other available scholarship for next years' class.

Adding 2 bigs to this already great recruiting class would be icing on the cake. Don't forget we get AJ Wilson available next year.

So many hypotheticals. I would think we have to land at least one of the bigs we are going after. But I haven't been able to find anything about OBI looking at Mason. Was this a April fools joke?

Seconded. I don't know MasonGrad01 personally and have no way of knowing what he knows, but I'd feel a hell of a lot more comfortable with his "scoop" had he not disappeared after posting it. I so want this to be true, so here's hoping the news is accurate.
