1. Under Armour didn’t embrace fashion (Adidas sure did)
- Unfortunately for Under Armour, it is faltering just at a time when one of its biggest competitors is flying. Adidas (ADDYY) stock is up this year almost as much as Under Armour stock is down, and in the German giant’s 2016 end-of-year earnings report it issued stunning guidance for 2017 and beyond. Under Armour, on the other hand, lowered its guidance.

The rise of Adidas has eaten into footwear market share for both Nike and Under Armour. While Adidas’s U.S. sneaker share has risen to 11.4%, Under Armour’s has shrunk slightly to 2.5%. Nike, when taking into account Jordan Brand and Converse, still enjoys a lion’s share 54.6%.

West Springfield Police District – Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who secretly recorded females inside a Walmart, located at 6000 Burke Commons Road, on Sunday, May 14 around 11 a.m. An investigation determined the suspect used a recording device to unlawfully record up the dresses of a 10-year-old girl and a 36-year-old woman. The child’s mother confronted him and he left the store before officers arrived. This type of unlawful filming is known as “upskirting.”

I'm curious... how was it so obvious that the victim was aware of what he was doing? I'm familiar with that store. I don't thing there are any stairwells in the building. Was this guy lying on the floor with a camera in hand?

TBH, I think they've done a wonderful job outfitting the hoops team, and I'm looking forward to seeing what is in the works.

George Mason needs to be on the front of all the jerseys. Put the kids names back on the back of the jerseys. Just look better and these kids deserve to be recognized on the court as they have worked hard to compete nationally in NCAA basketball.

Never been a fan of trying to brand us as Mason. You don't see people going around calling JMU "Madison" or GW "Washington" or Christopher Newport "Newport" or Robert Morris "Morris". Half of my friends from high school went to JMU as well as I work with 6 guys who went to JMU and I've never heard them refer to JMU as Madison.

Nationally.....Need to brand us as George Mason and/or as GMU. Need to get away from this Mason nonsense. "Mason" will fail to create brand awareness outside of Virginia.

Athletes can and do wear whatever brand they prefer when they're not representing the university in competition. This is one of those times.

My brother went to JMU, and he refers to it as "Madison"

My immediate thought would be the University of Wisconsin if someone told me they went to "Madison." I guess that could be since I haven't lived in Nova for the past 7 years. My brother also went to JMU, but I honestly don't know what he refers to it as.

Adidas has made a name for its self in the soccer community, as the popularity of soccer grows so does adidas. Frankly, unless America can make noise in the next olympics I don't see soccer popularity growing that much.

I believe our old Nike contract provided us a new uniform design every 1-2 seasons. Does anybody have any insight on what to expect this year? Considering that we've had the same uni's for 2 seasons straight. I'd like to see a new font, maybe a gold alternative, names on the jerseys.
