I was so hoping I would regret making this thread. We are not out of the woods yet, but I like where we’re heading. If we do indeed end up top 4, I will buy a round of drinks for anyone who chooses to meet me at Brion’s. But wait there’s more! I will also:

1. For GL, I will arrange for 6 strippers to play 3 on 3 basketball series with every game guaranteed to go to OT
2. Buy Dj3 a new Helmet
3. Train PMP to ensure Dj3’s proper use of said new Helmet
4. Provide Pikapp with industrial strength lubricant for his frequent masturbation sessions watching and thinking about Mason Hoops.
5. Hire GMUjim as my publicist.
6. Buy GMUBrian a new John Deere hat.
7. And pay GMUTom handsomely to ghost write my greatly exaggerated life story. From my modest beginnings washing elephant testicles at the zoo, to my rise becoming the resident poet of an obscure college basketball discussion forum. It will be grand.

Well, 500k is going to Rhoades’s salary. I bet they pay the assistants better than we do, too. I have no idea what the other money goes to. Some of it is marketing I’m sure.

Gotta hand it to the staff, after starting 0-3, they’ve now taken the team to 8-7, and have the team playing fantastic ball. They are embracing defense and have the guard play to succeed. Very quietly Mason has now won 4 of 5, nearly 5 in a row and I think we are only seeing the beginning of what the program can show us going forward. Long way to go, so one game at a time, but I love what I’ve been seeing for the last month. This is fun!

Can’t wait for Wednesday. Go mason!
